Look at me, I'm a horrible blogger... that's life, I guess...
Anyway, it's almost December 25th and then shortly after that it will be December 28th, which is my departure to my home-state. I'm not really looking forward to it, it was a physical guilt trip I decided to spend $300 on and... I'd rather go shopping. Honestly, I'm not sure it will be such a wonderful time.
First: Ohio in the winter is sometimes pleasant (I enjoy snow and cold weather), but can be brutal at times. I'm worried that my flight back to California will get delayed... which would be a nightmare.
Second: I haven't seen my friends for quite some time and I feel that for the most part, my friends and I have grown apart. The one friend I think I'll still connect with on close to the same level will be out of town and working the majority of my trip. I'm just not sure how things are going to be and I'm not looking forward to being uncomfortable.
Third: I'll be in the same house as my step-mother. Enough said.
All of these things are worrying me, but there are some positive things like seeing my family- especially my two year old and six year old nephews. That was the main reason I chose to visit home. Wish me luck!
